Shropshire.

hi, is anyone using a netbook to view the MJ software? most run XP is this compatible?

was thinking of getting one as the seem really cheap.

They usually don't have the serial cable port but you can hook up the the VGA or RJ45 port. I think Autosports Labs even to an RJ45 cable for V4

I guess you mean a USB Serial port adaptor thingy *smiley*

yup... the MJ uses a rs232 serial connection... although you can use a USB-serial converter fairly easiliy.

RJ-45 is an ethernet networking connection standard, VGA is as already said a video adaptor connection, neither are suitable for MJ
