I have had a brake bias valve go funny and lock the rears on.

pushrod from pedal to servo or servo to master cylinder is too long holding the master cylinder slightly closed. as the fluid heats up it expands, has nowhere to go so the brakes lock on. This is a really common problem with aftermarket master cylinders on the 16vminiclub. perhaps you have missed an ajsutment somewhere or a spacer washer or some such, either way, check it out. its a bog standard metro turbo havnt touched the brakes , drove it home 100 miles no problems.

sorry to hijack, but i am having the exact same problem. when driven around for a while they lock on solid!!

We had a similar problem with the TT. It turned out that the bush on the pedal was fubar, so the spring wouldn't return the pedal.

on my conversion instead of using the non servo brake pedal, ive adapted the servo pedal to take the master cylinder rod.

i think its defo the servo , gonna change it and rear cylinders and shoes

i found today that my pedal was fouling on the down stroke where it goes into the bulkhead, not allowing it to be fully released, havent had time to try it tho.

no mate all as i bought it, i drove it home 110 miles no braking issues at all.
