Mini spares SCCR clubman gearset

Hi all,

I am sure many of you use the Minis spares A+ gearset, however I have an A series Remote gearbox and am looking to fit the SCCR clubman gearset.

does anyone use or know anyone who uses this gearset? are they as good a quality as the A+ rod box gearsets?

I fitted a quaife ATB around 2 months ago (500miles) and the extra stress has caused some gears to say too much is too much.

Much better than the Clubman set, and includes the reverse gear which is always shagged.

how do you work the ratio's it mentions the number of teeth and then i look at the teeth on the cluster and dont get what i think it should be...

can anyone help me out with the ratio's of this set to suit the A series remote?

plus it does not mention 4th gear in the listing just 1,2,3, reverse, is 1st motion classed as 4th?

Fourth is the 1st motion shaft.

excellent value for money red, dont for get to order all new bearings as well

yes i agree with ben gear set are good but only as long as all the bearings are tip top condition otherwise they will kill the gear set just like that.

especailly the laygear set
