Saw this this morning on .

Looks like an interesting alternative to the output bearing as a drop in. Plastic cage always seems to go on mine after a while...

i spotted this the other day too...

thy look a lot like wheel bearings to me, and judging by how wheel bearings fail if they get any debris in them i'm a bit dubious about their longevity.
