27, Synthetic Chemist (trained) currently bumming it, will probably start teaching again.

Always been into odd cars, first 8 cars were Morris Minors which is where I learned my A series Engine fettling. Had a few really fast Morrises, the last one would wheelspin in 3rd in a straight line.

Drove a Ford Capri 3L to the Gambia last year across the Sahara, was such a good car I am toying with getting it back. Used to do loads of sailing and due to engines, ended up having a 1963 Dowty Jet Boat with a Capri V6. That blew the jet drive up.

Got introduced to horrible minis by my girlfriend. I told her not to get one but she did. My first one was my donk for a fast N/A engine which was a 1964 Deluxe, Have a 66 heap which is I am building a supercharged engine for and a 67 which I am going to put 2 engines in AND sprint the shell as well. I didn't bank on re-engining my 66 and got as far as stripping the shell and marking up my cuts.....Probably end up in the scrapyard, if I'm honest.

Spend a lot of my time surfing and exploring, another one of my projects is a book on the SW coast path for surfers which I have almost finished. Need to do a bit up by Poole to finish it. Been surfing for years and am in it when it's firing. Couldn't stand the cold water up north which is why I am hellbent on staying in Cornwall. 'Ansom pasties too.......

Play the piano to a professional standard and get out there and cheese it up if I get really, really skint.

For the last few years, I have been reading up on Automotive Design, I understand suspension, have made serious inroads on engine factors and now it's time to actually do something.

I have just recently got the whole "One project at a time" thing going on and it's a Bini Blower on my '66. I have decided to go blowthrough and the blower has to be mounted on the front of the block. It is a TIGHT squeeze and a lot more difficult and expensive than I thought. I have just realised that the engine I was going to use is scrap.......more expense. Snapped my last 2 surfboards last month as well.......?????

I have a habit of coming across as a bigheaded tosser, I'm just over-enthusiastic and a bit shout first, think second.
