205 MI6 Turbo if I'm not mistaken (as I usually am)

I've actually seen this car before, it is based on a 306 GTI6 engine with a turbocharger, making pretty big power around the 350bhp mark I believe. The intercooler is bloody hideous, but aside from that its nicely built. However if you thought the DON struggles to put it down you have seen nothing until you see this thing......!

was running 11 second quarters and packs over 500 horses. But im sure the tool was bouncing it off the limiter at 7.00 am just outside my tent..

Can't remeber what times it ran, but it was bloody quick!

205 was running constant 11.2/11.3's@ around 125 all weekend on road type tyres! should be well into the 10's with some proper tyres! It was a really nice conversion!

510 ponies is alot - he had some 2837 or summit type diesel Garrett turbo jobie, I'd never heard of it, but it was muckin fuge.

At one point, he was aside me in the queue and I was skidding my kaks I'd be up against him.

Good job MarkGT was in the line up on Pug Mans side as well as the end result could have been disasterous - I wouldn't have even been able to hear my motor with the noise this thing made.

Still, Mark and I had a great run - looked good to get two Mini's on the line as well.

And yes Mark, this was the cnut that was off the limiter from cold at 7 am outside our tents.

And as for the arse wipes that were broadsliding around in the pitch black, probably pissed up - twats. I hope they broke down on the way home.

Didn't one of them in an Astra lose the contents of his gearbox on the start line ?

I was please we managed to get up the strip together, just gutted I had issues in 4th again! At least I know the car has more in the bag, just need to experiment a bit more with my carb settings. A good way to end the season, and cant wait for next year now!

Rest assured, if I ever have a repeat experience in the queue and I end up alongside you on the strip, I will be sure to get away before the lights even get anywhere near green otherwise I will be repeating the aformentioned 'skid of one's kaks' (brown adrenalin) !

Mark - I think we've got similar spec motors - I'll mic up my needle and pass you the dimensions if you like for you to cut your own needle. It's worth a go for the price (about a tenner). Stuart Gurr did a fab job of my carb needle, all I need to do now is get the advance curve sorted and I'll be growing a herd of my own ponies.

There is a god after all, did anyone get any photo's of the chav who rolled his corsa turbo? It would not have been so bad if he did it on the strip but it was near where we all queue up, he did it in the night, prob pissed up.
