was at avon park couple weeks ago and lost all drive, sounded like it'd popped out of gear at first but then realised i had nothing in any gear. happened in first when it gripped off the line

have checked driveshafts and clutch arm and both are fine *oh well* any ideas would be much appreciated

If theres no clonking or rattling maybe the pinion nut came off (like mine did) and the teeth arent meshing.

Otrher than that - diff pin, drop gears, broken clutch plate.....

ah sorry i should've mentioned .. when in gear and i try to pull off there is a rattling noise as if somethings spining but not engaging or like you said meshing.

gonna go pull the motor out i think :)

as paul said, could be drop gears or pinion, if there was no noise when it let go, i'd guess pinion nut has come lose.

It was output shaft :) snapped like a carrot .nice cheap fix. Will get some pics up when i get home to my computer

Could u suggest a stronger output shaft? It was a tran x one that i just broke

If i can get a stronger output shaft thats not a force racing item for the time being until next year then i would like the good stuff lol

Nope, can't suggest a better one. We have broken 1 in 4 years with big slicks and driven very hard, so not too dissapointed.
