Don't forget to remove ALL the bits (including hand brake quadrants) before you send them off.

They are bare at the moment.

I've been planning on sending them to Mini Its to have them reconditioned, said they need all the bits. That's just the pins & bearings, not the handbrake quads & pins etc..

Seem to be the cheapest place I've found yet, unless anyone knows of any other companies?

Old bathroom scales (in the garage for just this purpose) gives me 8.5kg for TWO.

Without the shaft (pin?) but still with the handbrake quadrants attached and bearings inside (not that those little bits add much to the weight) - so about 4.25kg each.

Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ???
