Car is smoking out of the left hand breather and blue smoke through the exhaust, exhaust is very black aswell.

Its only done about 2k miles on a NOS short engine, could it be because its running too rich? or have I fucked the pistons/rings. I should have had it set up on a rolling road *surprised* it did suffer from fuelstarvation which I have finally cured.

Would I see much gains with a rebore to 1293 with forged pistons or shall I just re-ring it as the pistons have barely been used

Thanks

Dosen't sound good, but as it's low milage, a hone and a re-ring might be all that's needed. This is assuming that the pistons aren't damaged.

I'm mainly concerned about swirl in the runners caused by the tangential entry.

You would prob need to get rings from totalseal too. Borewash could be the culprit here.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.
