As title my Audi is going to be up for sale very shortly. I guess quite a few of you will have seen it at the various events.

Obviously it is a great device for towing, it has been my everyday car for just over three years now, I'm only changing it for a newer A4.

On the plus side, it has had plenty of new bits during my ownership to keep it in good order, also been serviced regularly, and had the cambelt, injector pump belt, tensioners and idlers, and the aux belt all changed last year.
On the minus side, it is by no means a mint example, having said that with a good clean it is more than presentable, but if you want a show winning A4 then this isn't the one for you. It also has a decent oil leak from the cam cover that I will hopefully get round to sorting before it goes to a new owner. The drivers seat bolster side has worn through the top layer of fabric, it was like this when I bought it and has got no worse. The alloys have started to bubble in places, this is common with these wheels. The body has the odd scuff, small dink, and a couple of very small isolated areas where rust is starting to come through, one on a rear wheelarch about the size of a 10p, another on the front door bottom about the size of a 5p. This probably makes it sound a lot worse than it really is, with a good clean it is still a presentable car.

150bhp 2.5 V6 TDI engine. This engine has a balancer shaft and really is super smooth on the go. Engine noise inside the car is very little. On a motorway run up to 44mpg is possible. Around town I get 29-30mpg. I will say that this really does vary according to how you drive it.
Quattro 4 wheel drive system with 6 speed box, this car quite literally grips as well in the wet as in the dry. This is also great for towing- no wheelspinning out of uphill junctions

Brink detachable towbar- this is a really decent bit of kit
Sports seats and steering wheel. According to the original spec it has the sports suspension option too. Massive grip and handles suprisingly well for a diesel estate car.
New parts during the last 3 years, front and rear discs and pads, radiator, alternator, cambelt, water pump and all tensioners (genuine Audi), rear springs and dampers (genuine Audi), black trims to bottom of doors (genuine Audi), front CV joint complete, rear wheel bearings, suspension arms, track rod ends, front anti roll bar links.
As you can see this car has had what was needed to keep it in decent order.

I drove this car to Silverstone and back last week and it didn't miss a beat, I would happily drive it anywhere in the UK with total confidence.
