Need some trailer suspension. This might seem abit dim, but if the rating for each side is 250kgs for example, does that mean it can take 500kgs total? Or a twin axle would be 4 times 250kgs = 1000 kgs?

Also, anyone know where the cheapest place is for suspension units?

They are normally rated per pair.

Dont buy cheap copies, buy genuine Indespension (from Towrite).

The cheap ones dont last very long and have been known to collapse entirely without prior notice.

Also, look out for proper wheel bearings, as the cheap ones and particularly the low rated ones use very poor bearings, in some cases not even proper angular contact wheel bearings.
