I've cut the lambda wires on my 205 to get the exhaust off. The sensor itself was err.. stuck. really stuck.

I think they are just the heater.

Two white wires are usually the heater wires. According to this site: http://www.lambdasensor.com/main/mcolours1.htm They are not polarised so you can reconnect them either way. |

Your 205 has a lambda sensor? That is new to me!

Yeah, white are just heater and they can be connected up either way. I believe the sensor just acts like a resistor with battery voltage in through one of the heater wires and a residial voltage out. as above, 2 white wires are heater and not polarity dependant, other wire is the signal wire and grounded through the exhaust :) turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)
