Its just a bit of fun.

Since I changed my stalks so my indicators were on the LHS of the steering wheel rather than the RHS, people have questiond why?

The answer being, that indicators on the RHS are a pain in the arse. It's impossible to indicate when exiting a roundabout, and it's generally anoying. My right hand does all the steering, so my left hand is free to indicate and change gear.

Choose and agrue please...... I plan to win the poll, see below.

LHS (Great)21 Votes 21 Votes - 0%
RHS (And I\'m gay)13 Votes 13 Votes - 0%

Roundabouts are a pain with LHS indicators, but crusing along the motorway then RHS are much better. On balance though I think LHS is better.

Agreed with ben on the motorways, and also prefer them normally too leaves my left hand free for gear changes and fiddling with the stereo.

LHS because all modern cars are fitted with them and it would be too difficult at my age to remember which side.

Eh? this makes no sense? Roundabouts are a pain with RHS surely, otherwise, please explain.

the mini's are on the left and the supra's are on the right, switching between the two is the hardest

using the left hand to gear change, flick the indicators and play with the stereo is best imo but

with them in the right i wouldn't say its impossible or annoying tbh

Yes i moved to the darkside *happy*

As above, nearly all modern cars now have them on the left, its kind of intuitive now. We have a van at work with them the other way around. I use the wipers frequently at junctions.

I prefer LHS too. A mate of mine had a corolla automatic with indicators on the right which was nice though. I could drive it whilst almost never using my left side limbs

My mums Hyundai has them on the RHS and i really like it!

My new Daily also has them on the RHS and after driving cars with them on the LHS for ageeeesssssssss im now using the wipers more than ever in the jap wagon!

But i personally think when you get used to it RHS indicators are the best!

My Impreza was on the RHS - I really liked that, but got slightly confused when I sold it and bought the mini :p

My old clubman has them on the rhs. Virtually every monday morning I would get to the bottom of the street and put my wipers on *oh well*

almost all jap imports have them on the RHS. i prefer it as you can indicate, steer and change gear at once.

RHS is annoying if your using a modern daily drive. Manys a time I have wiped my way around a corner and indicated the water off my windscreen. Once when someone pulled out on me I was so angry I washed my windscreen at them!

But with that said RHS all the way!

You think indicators on the wrong side are confusing, my Talbot campervan has the handbrake on the RHS, the amount of times I've grasped at air at the traffic lights is unbelievable!

they're clearly ment to be on the right!

my old mini had a 90's loom with the twin stalks and left hand indicators, my 1970 now has a mk2 column with just 1 stalk on the right for indicators and lights, and it's clearly better!

I prefer RHS, but over here no one has LHS indicators. I go for changing gear and indicating at the same time.
In my mates range rover the other day i swapped to LHS easily, just a bit extra to do at junctions.
