Roundabouts are a pain with LHS indicators, but crusing along the motorway then RHS are much better. On balance though I think LHS is better. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

Agreed with ben on the motorways, and also prefer them normally too leaves my left hand free for gear changes and fiddling with the stereo. |

LHS because all modern cars are fitted with them and it would be too difficult at my age to remember which side.

As above, nearly all modern cars now have them on the left, its kind of intuitive now. We have a van at work with them the other way around. I use the wipers frequently at junctions.

I prefer LHS too. A mate of mine had a corolla automatic with indicators on the right which was nice though. I could drive it whilst almost never using my left side limbs  On 12th Nov, 2009 Paul S said:

RHS is annoying if your using a modern daily drive. Manys a time I have wiped my way around a corner and indicated the water off my windscreen. Once when someone pulled out on me I was so angry I washed my windscreen at them!

You think indicators on the wrong side are confusing, my Talbot campervan has the handbrake on the RHS, the amount of times I've grasped at air at the traffic lights is unbelievable!

I prefer RHS, but over here no one has LHS indicators. I go for changing gear and indicating at the same time.
