I think you will strugle to get pistons that are 20 inch over size. You'd probably be better with + 0.020" On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

TBH, I'd strip the engine first as you can't really be sure what size bore it is on now (from the comments about the person who built didn't know what he was doing it in the Intro thread) and you don't know if the bores have suffered enough damage to require a larger overbore. well ok .. this is how it happened ... comming home from having swapped my open classic for this .. head gasked went between 1st and second pot from the left .... i had to drive the car 4 miles with gasket blown . then developed smoke from every breather going ... goit home changed the gasked to a bk450 and fired on 4 again but major crankcase compression .. so took it to art in wakey ... he said compression is leaking past the piston on number 2 .. how he knew this is beyond me .. but like i said am buggered without it .. and he quoted me 500 in just labour :( boooger that + 500 for pistons .. funds are tight but need it running ... thanks

no mate no photos but the bores were mint . each piston had the same amount of play ... the dude at art said if i take the pistons out one will fall apart as it the rings thats holding the piston together ... now i can ge the engine out and maybe stripped in half day ... putting it back together and timing it up am buggered ...
