does anyone know how to or if it is possible to turbo a mini mpi. im not very mechanicaly experinenced so if it could be explained easily!! i want to keep the block as ive just bought the car and then decided i want to go the turbo route.

Yes its possible, but the mpi engine no will mean that it needs to meet the emisions test for that year, which will probably be tricky,

so if i changed it to run on carbs would it still need to meet the emissions for 1997? what determines the year it needs to meet? |
