No probs from me Robert.

As the lowest powered 1275 car of the day, I'm proud of my graph, especially as it was bloody useful in visualising my fuzzy ignition issue between 4000-4500 rpm !

I'd welcome seeing the others.

Richard.

Minivanless, but reluctantly happy living with the decision. There'll be another one day.

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

No Problem from me mate, i would just like to add though that my graph isn't a true reading as i had to keep the torque down due to the slippig clutch (this can be seen on the 3rd run, in the vidoes) But turning the bleed vavle opne slowerly with the revs as they climbed, sadly my timing wasn;t spot on so ending up with not full post at end power, but got and ok result.

Can you over lay then rob that might be intertesting?

Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph

Jim.

I've managed to sort my Megasquirt problem over the weekend - trigger wheel had slipped 5 teeth.

However, you're not gonna get away with saying something like that without us wanting to know more. LoL.

We're now intrigued - how did you sort the boost problem ?

Richard.

When I was running 30psi I was running a 14psi spring in my wastegate. I wanted to run a lower boost than this at lydden hill, so changed the wategate spring to a 4psi spring. I forgot all about this but thinking about it trying to blead of 25psi of boost it quite a bit. So basically I need to change the spring or add a smaller restrictor in the boost pipe.

also when Dave walker mapped the car we could only map it around 17 psi due to wheel spin on the rollers, so we kinda guest the boost enrichment after this point, it is to agressive hence me running 10:1 AFR

You know where you have to take the car to get it set up without worry of wheel spin *wink*

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

wakefield West Yorks

Theres a place or places that you bolt the hubs direct to the dyno so no wheel spin at all.

jim, i think youve done extreamly well managing to do 230-250bhp and keep it reliable, anything else is just chacing numbers and seeing when it will blow.

They had a front wheel drive 500+ car on rollers withOUT spin so i think Jim would be ok. I got 257 lb torque doing my best to keep the torque as low as possible and it didn't spin the wheels.

Well Ok then:)

Just one question. what makes these rollers different from the open road, when even 500hp frontwheel drive cars must light up the tyres?
