the stickers available are no good if you have privacy or any kind of smoked glass,so i suggested sunstrips with the logo on.
any views on this...

I know the cliche/stereotype, but being quite short (or maybe just terrible posture) i do like sunstrips, I always have my visors right down.
I think there would be some quality/price issue though. And then the arguement over which background colour?

Sun strips look good on some cars, but on others they look like an after-thought(crap). Im not sure where i stand on this, its difficult to tell without just seeing one on a particular car.
(could I be anymore vague!)

Yes, Im getting there.....

i think clear background with the logo on would be more universal instead or different colour backgrounds coz some look good depending on colour of car they are on.(my opinion)*happy*

Copy the side stickers into bigger versions for windscreen?

the mini in mini mag a couple of months back, the 1310 nitrous one from slark racing, had a sunstrip with the SRE logo and clear background that looked good, something like that with the turbominis logo would be cool. i think couloured ones are no good on minis the windows are small wenough as it is and to block the top would be a pain in the arse, one example i can think of is traffic lights, if your close you cant see them as it is let alone with a few inches blocked at the top of the window.

dan, that's right. I couldnt never see traffic lights when i had a plain black sunstrip on my golf, was a right pain. I've pulled it off now :)

i've still got my MITP silverstone one fitted and "yes" traffic lights can prove difficult at times!

so maybe a clear background is a good idea, i've got an avonbar one on my other car which is much better!!!

Somewhere around Swindon

i think it depends on thge car n driver if you see a green nova with a burberry wearing chav at the wheel then it wont matter what sort of stickers are on the car

Being 6'1 sunstrips in Minis are a no go for me I am afraid.....but if you boys want them then I always think the easiest way is to get a strip of vinyl the same colour as your car then just add a turbo minis sticker on top.

i think when i buy my red turbo mini back im going to put one sticker in the top left of the windscreen, no sunstrip though. Can see any stickers through any of the other windows with them being blacked out perspex.
