Ok lads, in an effort to keep my MkI looking as retro as passable I am thinking of going the extended Centre Binnacle potion to get around the weber box does anyone know where I would get my hands on such an item?
or
Does anyone have a picture of one that I could copy to make my own?
regards,
Paul Extended centre

I would get a Weber box fitted first. I don't like the idea of melting stuff between me and fuel etc.

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

Made it from aluminium then used that to make the fibreglass one from.
Before you ask to borrow my mould, it squashed for Sprint so will be too small for a normal car

Ok cool I'm going to get my hands on a standard one and add the bit to the back than use that as the mold :)
