Update: Borrowed one of these only to find secondhand child's toy - wireless motorbike type video game pre play station turned on - needless to say will be going in the skip or maybe will wrap it up and leave it turned on outside bad neighbour's house lol!

Thanks to all & no need to torch Red Bull lol!!!

Trouble is it is a constant jamming signal - I can see the trouble light on and the signal light flashing on the wireless receiver for the alarm as we speak

Got home tonight to discover neither car will lock/unlock
Garage door no longer opens on remote
Wireless module on house alarm receiving signal from some where.

Also alarm engineer's car will not lock/unlock either

I have powered down the whole house (circuit breaker board) and still the wireless shows a fault and car's remotes will not work

Got any good ideas chaps? Is it Ofcom I need to speak to?

we had this issue in our old unit when a mobile fone mast was fitted . only affected subaru alarms. if we got one that wouldnt start we had to push it into the unit, close the shutters (creating a farriday cage) start the car then drive it back out. pain in the arse. especially when a customer took his subaru to a next door (and unfriendly) garage and locked it, my boss sent me over .. fun *surprised* *happy*

any been fitted around you lately? petrol station forecourts? supermarket signs? big advertising billboard things?

Funnily enough my mates Impreza does the same at my brothers house, but my Legacy is no bother.

We might have some detecting equipment in work that could find the direction of the source, but I'm not planning to be down your way for a while. I'm going to the lab tomorrow, so if I can find the stuff I'll see if it's sendable (no promises).

Funnily enough when my broadbad stopped working they blamed my wireless phones. Even though I had no wireless network, nothing. They would not have my explanation of how it actually worked.

As Wil says only my mates Subaru suffers at my house and we have a phone mast near bye.

I cant image its Redbull as it would interfere with all their other systems, their dyno cells are like bomb proof bunkers.

ive just spoke to a colleague who specializes in RF and he said it could be anything from a newly erected mast, Redbull is a consideration, a neighbours new toy, walkie talkies or even one of your systems malfunction and jamming the others. if it persists there is a regulatory board who will come and scan the area

Redbull are probably trying to increase their budgets by renting roof space to mobile phone operators!
