So, I just happened across a picture of one of these, and initially thought "WTF has Landrover done to the Defender" Before noting the IVECO moniker....

So, what is that all about then? Are they available yet? The 175hp turbodiesel sounds nice, but leaf springs all round?

Just curious if anyone has seen / driven one yet. That's all. :)

"For those not familiar with the Massif it owes its heritage to the Land Rover Defender. Spanish company Santana used to build Defender under licence and subsequently built and sold it under its own name. Iveco became involved, re-engineered the product, updated the factory and the Massif was born."

Except Defenders (or more accurately the 110) have been riding on coils since '83....
Clearly they are offering a product beavilly influenced by the Landrover, I was just curious if these are 'available' yet - and if anyone had driven one.
