Silly question time..

Shell is early so had the 4 drainage chanel sills.

I bought the later 6 chanel type (to try to make it last longer after all my work) and went to fit them earlier this week and none of the chanels lined up with the indentations in the outer edge of the floor pan. I was expecting 4 of the 6 to line up and I just get 2 extra on the sill without the matching bit in the floor but, better than nothing.

So, as nothing lined up, I called in at DSN this morning and bought the early 4 chanel sills. And, guess what, they don't line up either....

So are the indentations in the floor pan (where the sill fits) nothing whatsoever to do with the chanels in the sills or is there more than one variant on a 4 drain sill ???

Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ???

I thought they where there because of the small buttons to fit the carpet with, and had nothing to do with the sill drain holes.

Nice to hear that you are fitting proper sills

Of course, yes...... and not all models had the proper carpets so that's why I don't have the small hole for the pop rivet which would have made me remember....

And yes, proper sills only for me - I've spent too long removing rust from this just to start it again at an accelerated rate :)
