Im just about to order a load as i like to have spares

Im sure when i was 16/17 i could get foamy/rubber ones?

Did i dream this? As i cant seem to track any down now?

Hmm sure your not thinking tappet cover seals? They are usually that sorta type and colour.

there is a company (roadster gaskets?)in the us that does them, I've seen them on ebay,

ive used them, they are good but can degrade on a turbo lump above the centre exhaust port.

Years ago there used to be a rubber gasket with a steel stiffener available -- I haven't seen one for 15 years or so though. All we can get in Canada now are the cork ones, which work OK if you grease them on both sides before installing and you don't tighten them down too much. They don't last very long and don't like to be re-used though.

i usually wellseal the cork one to the rocker cover, but really want the rubber type, will have a scan on the web
