Hi

I have just rebuilt and installed my engine today and got it running.

Anyway, I took it for a drive about ten minutes ago and it kept jumping out of second gear.

The box is the same one I used for the old engine and never did i have a problem with it.

I have changed from a verto to pre-verto setup as well.

I have also installed a short shift, but its not a KAD one.

The engine has an adjustable engine steady, and all new mounts, although I am not sure what condition the selector box mounts are in. The do feel spongy.

You help would be appreciated, unless your going to tell me I need to take the engine out as I will cry.

Thanks

Jon

Agreed take the short shift out. IMHO they are crap anyway.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.
