hi, iv just finished cutting the paint back on my newly painted shell

i flattened the paint with 1000 grit wet and dry, followed by 1500.

then machine polished with frecla G3, then with frecla G10

hand polished further with auto glym deep shine.

the results are really good

im looking for a decent wax to protect the paint and see if i can get an even deeper shine to the paint.

i guess the only way is to look at the high end car wax for sale. does anyone have any experience with dodo juice, and the likes? what are the alternatives, and what is recomended? they all look prety pricey, so want to make sure im getting the best product for my money.

many thanks

dodo is good, or the collinite range of waxes are good and not mega expensive

my brother put some on his mini before he restored it. the paintwork wasnt the best before, it came up really well though.

hopefully it will take my paintwork from good to very good!

just wondering though, they have so many products on the market.

do i go for soft or hard wax? a coloured one or what seems to be top of their range, supernatural, which looks to be clear?

have a look on there website, as it will say what wax does what general colour group or even a universal one. i personally use there hard wax on my daily, however some use both at the same time.
have you thought about a sealant instead of a wax? i use a sealant on my mini and i find that brings out more than a wax does
