metro turbo engine that just requires putting together had lots of work and money spent on it parts included:

metro turbo block with cylinders honed out for new piston rings

metro turbo cylinderhead valves relapped new valve guides and stem seals fitted,chambers opened out to 28cc to run more boost about 16psi and head been skimmed

new piston rings fitted to pistons and new big end and main bearing shells fitted

metro turbo crank, metro turbo timing chain,2 flywheel and clutches one better than other all engine parts there to rebuild engine

t3 turbo and exhaust manifold

modified plenham chamber for intercooler and dump valve

dump valve

renault 5 gt turbo intercooler

metro turbo carb and manifold

oilcooler

high boost needle and spring kit from avonbar racing never fitted

boost guage and bleed valve for boost pressure

metro turbo electric fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator

new head gasket kit also gearbox gasket kit

and more

In your advert you state that the pistons have new rings fitted. I thought that new rings weren't available for the Metro Turbo pistons. Also is this the same engine thats on Ebay at the moment covered in red paint?

engineers called molynuexs at farnworth bolton found some new rings took him about two weeks to find them but he sourced some for me but they where expensive but he said same hard to come across now left him block crank pistons and head and he found all the new shells, yes it is the one on ebay painted red i painted it and was going to build it to put in my mk2 shell but my missus 1380 cooper refurb has now drained the back so i have let my stuff go so i can get the 1380 cooper finished so i can hit the shows next year thanks ady

Please don't take this the wrong way but I think it's over priced by about £250. Best of luck with the sale.

Sorry Rubicon, I missed that. Worth every penny then, especially with the boost increasing red paint.
