Pretty sure my wrench will be miles out. Can anybody recommend somewhere to get it calibrated? On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

A comparrison test with a 'known good' wrench might be your best bet.

Had a response to my mail already. £19 +vat to calibrate it, plus the cost of any parts required.

About what the wrench cost. I think I'd rather just fix this one than buy another. At least I know it's right then... On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

They are UKAS accredited, so the calibration I'd imagine comes with a traceable certificate back to a standard.

Apart from having driven past it a few thousand times, yes I've used them at work for torque tools to do up M36 bolts to 2500Nm.

Were you trying to stop the earth spinning or something? The rail freight stuff I've com across doen't get much higher than 800 Nm, and that's fairly big kit. |

It is a hydraulic driven torquing tool. I doubt you would get to 2500Nm with a torque wrench.....
