I am looking to fit an oil pressure gauge as that little light on the dash is of no help lets be honest

but what does the gauge have to go up to 60psi, 80psi ?
I found one at the scrappys from a land rover but its an electronic one not mechanical and only goes up to 60psi is this any use or do i need a mechanical one ?

Cheers Rob

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

Mine went to 100psi mate, dont think new ones are very expensive to be honest then atleast you know it works properly.

Id go with a minimum of 80psi though because when cold 75psi is often reached i think.

yeah you need something around 90-100psi, i have used the smiths one that was standard in earlier minis, took it out of the centre dash console and fixed it to a custon dash, works fine! and the smiths gauges look nice too
