Right, im changing to preverto but im keeping my pre engauged starter.

Apparantly there are some pre verto flywheels around with the correct ring gear. Does anyone have one for sale?

Or how easy is it to pull of verto ring gear and push it onto a pre verto flywheel?

Remove old ring-gear with a grinder.
Buy new ring gear.
Pop flywheel into freezer overnight.
Put new ring-gear into oven for an hour at full temp
fit new ring gear onto flywheel - a little tap with a hammer might be needed.
Bosh! Job done!

Remember to balance the flywheel afterwards. I've done this, and it needed balancing. The radius of the ring is as large as it can be.

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.
