Got this email today about the wife's fiesta currently on autotrader, surely no-one falls for this bollocks these days?

I had a pillock knock on my the door other day and say. "Did you know you are being over charged for your electricity and gas?"

My reply was "Oh really? By how much?"

He said he would have to see my bills to show me.

Mr reply was to politely tell him to clear off (read as: go away!) and closed the door.

He then started saying loadly that he had saved Barbara from number 34 £20 a month. Funny that 34 is my next door neighbour who is a single bloke.

Unless he's taken up cross dressing my spider sense tells me the spaz was telling pork pies.

No doubt however a few people around will fall for rubbish like this and more than likely end up paying more for their utilities.

I had somebody selling tea towels knocking on the door the other day. His first words where:

"Is your dad home?"

I nearly fell over! I thought I'd grown out of my baby face sinse I turned 30.

Had loads of those emails, if you google the tel number it's a premium rate number so they dont even ringing them gets money from you. I sent them a virus as a zip file saying it had loads of pictures of the car..

there is a web site where a guy winds these people up, i will try to find it as its funny reading

I got an amazingly bollocks reply basically asking for all my personal details. I'm not sure how the scam will work out, but I have sent the following mail/details:

The usual order of events, normal in the business of selling cars world, is to pay a deposit to secure the car.
