Hi
I am looking at the floor in my mini and think it could do with replacing as it has been patched numerous times in all 4 quarters. I am thinking of going for a full floor pan, is it essential to jig the bodyshell to replace this or would welding box section accross the doors and linking them be sufficient bracing to prevent the shell moving. Also could I leave the subframes in to get an idea of mounting points while fitting the floor.
cheers
Sam

Best one is the half floor panels from somerfords. these include the inner, outer sill and jacking point... Do one side at a time, and weld some steel bars into the door opening in a X shape to keep some shape to the shell...

Not an aftenoon job mind...
