Because of a requested task Hobby Rarity:

AKM 7 port crossflow cylinder head for Classic Mini, Austin, Rover, Mini Cooper S, Metro or MG Midget, or any A-Series engine with 1000, 1100 or 1275 cc and bored engines. The head was on a Midget 1275 120 hp and only 5000 km running.
Bored with a 1275 cc and 1420 cc Weber Alpha injection were achieved with this head has 168 HP.

On this head fits the series exhaust manifold or any Headers. On the inlet side are integrally cast flanges for twin carburetors from Weber, Dellorto and Solex or injection with single throttle of VGS or other Renneinspritzung.

The inlets are 40mm from the factory, but can easily enlarge for example, Larger carbs.

The head is offered here has a compression ratio of 10.5: 1, inlet valves 37, exhaust valves 31mm, stronger valve springs up to 9000 rpm

Also still in the process, all tie rods for the inlet / outlet with metric thread and a set of NGK spark plugs.

Let me give two Dellorto Querstromvergaser. The carburetors are already a few years on the shelf and should be overhauled before use. An Overhaul by me.

Akm's were 45mm at the port face rather than 40mm, and had the hole for the temp sensor in the middle of the head between plugs 2&3.
