Bulkhead looks tons better.

Turbo phil did the head work. He had a bit of a job as the head was originally intended for NA and needed opening up to 24cc's. Nice work!

Whack it in at the weekend?

Hi t@z, i'm not sure if its the same manifold, I paid £250 for it with the wok, T3turbo, down pipe, link pipe and back box, which was all needed at the time as I was looking at getting the mirage setup (didnt want to cut the car as ive kept all the original set up). thought i might take a chance on it lol

Phil's a top bloke, my photos dont do his work justice

love your car though had a clubman regret selling it. what cr you get in the end and boost you planning to run?

I need to fit some gauges to the inside of the car, boost, oil temp, pressure and rev. I wish to keep it as original period looking as possible. so far ive come up with this crude idea of using an old dash to hold every thing, any suggestions would be great, go silver or carbon look and so on

thinking of useing thesehttp://www.equus.com/Product/Detail/F1DD60D7-5D84-495B-A705-20746814E888

on your template have you left enough gap between each gauge? bearing in mind that the bezel is about 2mm (i think) so 4mm plus a gap.

maybe get a duel oil pressure and water temp, is oil temp really necessary? just thinking of ways to reduce the requirment so it can be kept std inside.

Nice, another custom manifold! Im going to be restricted to 15psi max because of the mpi fuel pump, so planing to have 10-12 for the road and 15 for the strip! oneeye knows my cr, i cant think of it at the mo, 8.9.1 26cc

The T3 is to get me started and running in, hope to get my hands on a gt17 later on or speak to Joemini13 about a vnt.

The rings on the carboard were just to see how many i could get on there, there about 62mm each so the gaps may need tweeking.

The ebay link's not that great, they do one for pressure oil temp and volts, also sell boost in psi and a rev gaege form the same line. cheep a chips as im lead to beleave they come with the senders http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Joe that paint is great, but i was hoping to match the spedo, if this fails i'll make a pod like yours with the paint, i need to do more looking for retro late 60s early 70s.

or you could fabricate one for me *happy*.... your good at that sort of stuff lol

If using the mpi pump you can run more than 15psi, think your getting confused with the spi pump.

been hard at it this week, fitted the new tank, plumed in most of the fuel lines, fitted the heater back with new hoses.

built up the engine today and fitted the head, starter motor, clutch slave water pump, pot joints.

The exhuast stud snaped in the head :( if your ever building an engine allways get new studs or arp! hours later oneeyed drilled the head and re taped it, its not fun, so close to putting the engine in, then that happens its shit!

droped the engine in, then spent about two hours trying to get the engine mounts to meet up, in the dark. never again.

thanks gary, it was a long hard day. cheers for helping today!

i have to move the break bisvalve thing now to get the down pipe in :( oh well getter there, lol *happy*

oh yeah, got the bumper back on
