Hi

I am going to get stainless some bolts to hold the thermostat cover down.

Just wondered what thread they are and how long I need them to be.

It the pre 1990 engine, which does not have the sandwich plate.

Thanks

Jon

5/16 unc, about 60 mm long without a heater take-off, add 25 mm if using a heater take-off sandwich plate.

I use plenty of Copperslip even though they're stainless.

Richard.

Minivanless, but reluctantly happy living with the decision. There'll be another one day.
