can anyone help me out? im trying to set up my adjustable tie rods. the car has been stripped for donkeys and the original ones are long gone. i need to know the length of the standard rods as a starting point. the easiest way to measure is from the flange at the front subframe bush to the centre of the bolt at the bottom arm.

Pretty sure the minispares website has a technical article about this.

As taken from the minispares website:

"The standard length is 14 5/16” from the front of the locating washer to the nearest edge of the bolt hole in the adjuster block. One full rotation of the rod adjusts the length by 1/16” which equates to a little over 1/2º."

thats brilliant! thanx. the articles had plenty of info about degrees and angles but no actual measurement of length.
