Anyone seen a decent scaleable pic of the end of a head thats been modded? was gonna have a go at doing it myself but dont really know where it should be machined flat or how big the hole should be.

I did mine a different way. The head was drilled & tapped & the core plug was tapped.

did wonder if it was possible to do it like this, very neat and a lot easier to achive without a mill.
Where did you get the u pipe? 28mm id i pressume?

found a 1 3/8 unf tap no probs, under a tenner on ebay. Die however is £60!!!!
Anyone want to chip in or buy a couple of finished pieces for say £30 so i can justify the cost?
