I took the 998 EFi Turbo out in the rain just before it got dark.

Cold, damp and steamed up windows (no heater). No grip below 50mph!

Sure did get the adrenalin going.

Slightly OT- I took my car out the instant that I woke up one morning, then came back for breakfast

The rest of the day felt amazing afterwards, I shall do it so many more times next year

I went on a road trip in the Mini the other week to visit Jimster. On the way back, on the A483 coming into Builth Wells, on the wet twisty windy bit, in the dark with 720 watts of lighting, the back end stepped out and I reacted accordingly. Finding myself in the middle of the road on a corner with a car coming the other way, I decided to back off a little *oh well* The guy behind in the Williams Clio backed off after another mile or so.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

after 10 hours at work then 9and half on the road a nodded off clipped a curb which threw me across both lanes on an A road with well over 6ft ditch one side and at some point a river on the other no barriers
i was doing a good 60mph i royally shit my self it wasnt till 2 -3 hours later i realised exactly how close i was, not driven the supe since coming home that day

the curb rises and falls into and out of the ground i hit it on the rise and it lifted that side of the car alot!! it did no physical damage but i will NEVER for get it lol *surprised*

not car related but last week during the high winds and heavy rain, I was up in the dark on the roof of one of the buildings we manage - a few scary moments!

The other night I was sound asleep, dreaming, when there was a massive BANG! I totally shit myself, literally took me 1/2 an hour to calm down. this was after I found out that the loft opening decided to open its self. It swung down and banged on the wall.

Not dangerous, but fooking scary.

Was there a picture of you as a kid in the loft with the edges burnt?

lol, i thought this thread was a jibe at dangerous for being lazy haha

erm, got a speed wobble on my bike at 120mph the day before yesterday, somehow the chain tensioner on one side has slipped and thrown the wheel alignment out by a midges dick

about a week ago, i was in abuilding with quite a few walk in safes, one was shutting slowly, so a grabbed the door, then realised i couldnt stop it, came within a mm or so of loosing all my fingers on my right hand, scary looking back!

Driving the the gym earlier, a very tight s bend, went around one, exited sideways at about 45 degrees on full left lock.

mate went through in his car and ended up on the grass verge on the left hand side.

There was oil on the road! :( Was very lucky and so was he.

i decided that I'd sweep up a little scorpion(about 3 inches big) with a dust pan and brush, little did i know they run like Bolt!

it ended up shooting out of the pan and ran though my legs :( glad it didn't get me.

i also called the girlfriend Hittler as she's starting to run a dictatorship...

the uncle laughed then agreed!

so i didn't get so badly told off and my manhood is still attached!

a lad i used to work with was sat on the edge of a top bunk, went to jump off, and managed to leave his wedding tackle behind

never found if if they managed to fully 'repair' him?
