Sounds like a good compromise if you are totally unwilling to use MJ. But I will wait for the more experienced to comment. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

Thanks for the quick reply, I understand the need to retard timing on boost to prevent detonation and that the MJ can set it up perfectly.

1 degree pe 1psi is a general rule of thumb, nothing more. A properly set up ignition system will not be so clear cut. It will work well enough though, but not be ideal. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

I reckon it could be a good setup for turbo beginners or people who are a little bit afraid of EMS. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

In reality setting it up is simple. There's plenty of people who'll give you a map to start with.

I'm mainly concerned about swirl in the runners caused by the tangential entry. |

thanks for the replies guys, so with a MJ is it simply a case of more power because of more accurate timing? |

good to hear.. where are you getting your edis parts and other bits from? I didnt bother looking locally, and just imported them as a "kit" from a scrappy in the US.

I was looking for EDIS stuff a while ago and found this company, http://www.spitronics.co.za/. They can supply wasted spark coil packs and from what I heard from a friend of mine VR sensors and trigger wheels aswell.
"So wat we gonna do tonight Brain?"
