Im in the process of making a splitter for the Jap wagon and i am nearing the finish of the first attempt of a mock up of the splitter.

From this i want to make a mould and then lay up a fiberglass version. The current "prototype" is

Because the splitter is quite low to the ground i want it to be flexible otherwise it will get battered and the normal rock solid fiberglass will just crack!

Any ideas?

Cheers, James.

a thin layup Kevlar?

Weave Glass is more flexiable than CSM as it is easier to get a thin laminate, you will want a low resin content product as its the resin that cracks. Ther are probally specially resin that will have more give available too
