can i just use a normal silicon jobby and not a flourolined one as there a tad pricey and hard to get hold of where i am, how long will a normal silicon one last cheers

I was told the normal silicon one was fine and people didn't have any problems with it, all though I happened accross a normal metro turbo one so never tried it

Normal silicone will degrade eventually, but it will be something like 5 years in my experience.

From the bottom of the turbo onto an adaptor where the mechnical fuel pump usually sits.

You can just about see it in this picture:
