these are ok on cast iron seats but if i'm not mistaken the cutters are not HSS let alone carbide so as Steve suggests , wont touch an insert |

I bought a full set around 10 years ago. They struggled on plain cast iron. Sold them as they were completely useless.

These ones are cheap indian crap, the set i had were sykes pickersvant , work well when spanking new on cast iron,

I've got some old Sykes Pickavant cutters that are about had it.
