Found 5 of them when renovating my house, they were a bit smaller though...

That's all been built over the summer. There was nothing there last year.

There's about 30 odd left buzzing around the lights, but it's still scaring going up there. Needed to get the Xmas decorations down!

No sure what to do. They seem to be living on the chimney stacks where it nice and cosy as we light a fire every night and there is always the cooker burning in the kitchen.

I thought they would die off but I now think they will survive unless we deal with them.

You will have to deal with them, hire an exterminator, you don't want them beasties in your house next year..

i wouldn't have gone up there if i knew that was up there!

I thought wasp as it looked a bit papery. If so get them exterminated.

i now vote poke it with a stick and run, before burning it (and recording it)
