right, well 2 questions here, whats best for my crosser and also my bandit?

at the minute i just use some old renthal oil i had on the shelf from years back

ive been told chain wax is utter shite by a few people, then my neighbour (road racer) think its the tits?

Id rather not bother with the aerosol stuff as more ends up on my garage floor/discs etc than the chain

btw my crosser is used mainly in stubble/muddy fields and doesnt go on sand

cheers

90 gear oil, applied frequently, but its a bit messy, especially on a road bike. OK if you leave it for a while before riding but leave a cloth underneath to catch the drips !

I would NEVER use oil on the chain. White lithium grease. Oil only allow debris to stick, wearing the chain more.

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

I bought a spray can of yamalube (local yamaha dealer) for my ZX6R and its spot on, nice and doesnt fly off after 2 seconds. Id say better for road bike than crosser.

I know its spray but a bit of cardboard behind the chain stops it going where it shouldnt

on my crossers i use light wd40 type stuff and non o ring chains they are super cheap and i replace them a few times a year
the best lubes for road bikes is either scott oil lube again can be messy but at this kind of year u should be cleaning and adjusting the chain regularly
or the honda chain lude (prob similar to other manufacturers chainlubes) again its light and slightly tacky so it doesnt fling off after 2 minutes...
the best way to make chains last is cleaning and regular lubing and adjusting...

Speeding is like masturbating, everyone does it, but not all of us film it and put it on the internet

the best way av found on me trials bike is a nice bit of grease in a tin roll the chain up and place in the tin then heat until fluid like then hang the chain and wipe off excess works a treat and lasts a good while ...
