Struggling with 2nd and 4th gear - Need some help quick please

Recently bought my new car as some of you may have seen. it was all going fine, its only done 8k since a full AC rebuild including the box.

driving the other day and 2nd and 4th are really hard to engauge. seem to remember something about a roll pin that can move? should i be looking at the actual gearchange or the gearbox?

got to sort it by tuesday as its my only car to drive!!

syncro is fine, no problems there and 1st and 3rd are easy to get in. seems to get worse the warmer it gets.

Theres a roll pin where the linkage joins the gearbox under the car,If its not in right it could be rubbing on the casing.

it was the central spring biasing jobby (those aftermarket things that make the gear stick go central.) well it had come loose and slid forward meaning every time i went for 2nd or 4th it was hit the yoke on the rod change stabiliser. slid it back and tightened it up and jobs a good un

i like it when problems have a nice easy solution
