Has any used a 21251 pistons in a turbo application?

I've just realised one of the engines I have (all newly machine etc etc) which I got off ebay years ago has them!

I seem to remember they arnt very good with revs....

From what I hear 21251's are made from Cadbury's finest. OK in a standard engine. Nigh on useless in anything modified.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

They haven't got huge oil slots, but they've got oil-slots..

Nick has or had 21253's dished out I do believe.
