Hi guys,

Glad you like my van. It's taken all my spare cash for quite a while now.

I'll post a full spec up when it's all finished.

I've got most of the bits to finish. The next main job is the wiring loom.

colour is of bavarian origin.

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

Hows the rear part of the cage fitted and whats the origin of it?

Im tempted to put one in my next project and was thinking of a custom rear half that bolts to the rear arches as a saloon one would. I dont want to mess with the rear load bed plus i want to add some mounting points for the harnesses.

Cheers

It was a standard rear cage with no diagonal. I had the extra bits made up. It's bolted and welded in. I had to extend the front legs of the cage of course, due to the wheelbase ebing longer.

The loaddeck is shorter as well. Otherwise you can't fit any decent deats in. Harnesses are going on the cross member of the cage.

I'm sure I can find some other pictures if you are interested.

Yeah id love some please.

Ive definately bought a turbo'd van now so need some inspiration of what to do.

So its easy to buy a saloon cage and alter you reckon?

Im not wanting to alter the load bed length to be honest. I was going to get some Sparco sprints as i had them in my last mini and loved them.

Thought they would squeeze in on solid mounts.

Im only 5' 10"
