if your a machinist then i recon you wont go wrong oil feeding the thrust bearings to counter a heavy clutch.

make sure you're brakes are in a good condition.
there is nothing wrong with a A-series that a turbo can't fix.

narrowband lambda guages are around £20 and very helpfull

one other item i thought of and don't see in the list: a inlet manifold a turbo carb and plenium. there is nothing wrong with a A-series that a turbo can't fix.

The compression ratio is the important part when sizing the piston dish. For 12 to 15psi I'd aim for 8.4:1 ish. A 2wd cosworth intercooler seems to be one of the favourites on here, and works/fits in well.

Why not use the Metro turbo pistons you already have? They will be fine at your proposed boost as long as you have a sensible CR and efficient intercooler.
