Does anybody have any pics of a screamer pipe on a turbo mini?????Ive done a search and couldnt find any pics! Bending the rules and ruling the bends,Since 1959 |

It crossed my mind a bit since, dont bother, theyre stupidly loud! 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

There is no entry for 'screamer pipe' on Wikipedia

Neither of which most of us have. However they are virtually/completely pointless in my eyes for what we are doing completely agree, totally pointless unless your flowing so much exhaust gass you get boost creep (i.e. out flowing the internal gate) now my internal gate is smaller than you guys on t3's and i know im flowing a load more air. take from that what you will, internal gates are reliable, simple and up to the job. a+++ screamer pipes only attract police attension, have axperienced this first hand. rather you than me. hey mate im running a screamer off my turbo, ill see if i can get some pic's for you if no one else here seems to be running them, i have run one on all of my cars, such as my 1991 vr4 galant which is a 2.0L dohc turbo, and they all run fine, you just have to run plumb them so they exhust is away from any thing you dont want melted haha as they do tend to spit flames :) and plus they sound mint 1966 MK1 1034CC TURBO MINI |
