hi just wondering if you guys could help? im looking for 13s i cant afford carls split rims so was looking at the super trax wheels but have read they are heavy, so now i am wondering what is the lightest and affordable 13inch wheel out there

My 'super mini' wheels, the original super trax from Japan are not super light, but were lighter than the starr mags I had. I understand that the Hudersfield Super trax is actually lighter than the ones I have.

I think the lightest cast 13s are compomotives, but they look shit!

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Compomotive CXRs are the lightest one piece wheel I believe.

There are lots of 13" magnesium wheels, you'll need a cetrelock system to use them though,

Ok I ment Alloy wheels not exotic magnesium 8-) due to the costs etc. CXRs were one of the lightest alloys a few years ago, one reason I bought them for the GTM, they are about £110 a wheel depending on exact specs, I got mine direct as i wanted a specific offset.

Magnesium wheels are made of an alloy.
If you mean aluminium wheels, then write that.

because ive gone from metro turbo to vauxhall 2.0 power so think the 13s will give better grip

i'm not disputing the weight, its just theysa re not forged, i don't know where this info has come from but even KAD state they are sand cast, and by the look of the finish iv'e seen this would be the case,
