Hey guys, asking on here as i've been getting shocking replies on TMF *oh well* .

Is there a decent damper available for a 1430 engine? (apart from the £300 minispares one)

Or is there any good info/reads on machining one to suit?

Cheers guys!

Just so you know, had an email back from Swifty saying they no longer stock the Romac dampers, but they are looking at developing a new one.

I bought a lightweight Romac balancer for my 1430cc stroker last year (steel inner, alloy outer) for AUD $225 delivered in Aus.

Unfortunately I don't think they have a UK stockist any more.

New Vs old

New ROMAC Part # 239SA 840g
Original 1,440g

That's a 42% weight saving, most of it at the outer edge
