Car started to make abit of a rattle(worse when clutch engaged). After stripping it down the idler is a loose fit in the transfer housing and gearbox (was tight when fitted) would this be the problem?

They do tend to spin sometimes. Thay should be fitted with a little loctite bearing fit
I seriously doubt it! |

How loose is it? If Loctite will fill the gap you might be OK.
I seriously doubt it! |

I've decided on this as well.. The brand new one from Minispares looks very promising. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

I have been using the med set for a few years, they came in a Minispares box. I changed the bearing last year but haven't had any problems. |

Did you have any difficulties fitting it? Any tips? On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

I just warmed the casing and box with a hot air gun and then pressed them in. |
